NFG member companies have extensive experience from all aspects of Norwegian forestry practices, both in the public and private
sector. In addition to domestic experience, the group possesses experience from Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.
NFG aim to provide:
• International consulting services, project development and project implementation based on sustainable forestry principles
and appropriate natural resource management;
• Marketing of competence from seed to final wood product and from environmental protection to commercial utilisation of forests
in a long-term perspective;
• Tailoring of projects and expert groups according to the needs of public and commercial customers;
Fields of Competence
NFG has numerous specialists within its own staff, both technical and academic personnel, who can design, plan and implement
forestry and forest industry projects, carry out studies and assessments or undertake research and development work on a short-
or long-term basis.
Team building and support systems
NFG will provide the best possible team for any given task. With the abundance of ”know-how” in NFG, no job is too small or
too large. Professional backstopping will be provided from the home office and long-term follow up can be provided.

Norwegian Forestry Group (NFG) has been established with the object of combining the wide range of know-how and technology
